Bulk density (g/l)
The weight of pepper per litre, the primary grading axis for black pepper. MG1 is ~500–550 g/l; TGEB is 550+ g/l. Higher density means denser, more mature berries.
Bulk density (g/l) is a specification buyers put on the contract when sourcing Black Pepper from India. If you are buying to this spec and want it verified on your lot, we quote against it and ship with the test report.
