Mint supplier in Japan
We export Mint from India to Japan in bulk — the quiet giant of the basket — mint products (menthol, mint oil) are ~8% of India’s spice export value.

Who supplies Mint to Japan?
YouPals exports Mint from India to Japan in bulk — in the grade and packing you specify, steam-treated and lab-tested to Japan requirements, from sample quantities up to full container loads.
Shipping Mint to Japan
Japan is a East Asia market that took 2% of India’s spice export value in FY2025-26. We ship from the Indian gateway ports — Mundra and Nhava Sheva on the west coast, Cochin and Tuticorin in the south — on the sailing that fits your schedule.
On entry to Japan, Mint classifies under ITC-HS 3301 25 10. Ask us to confirm Japan’s current duty on that line before you commit — we would rather verify it than quote a rate that turns out wrong.
On Japan specifically
No dedicated ITC-HS line — Mint is not separable in any trade dataset, so no Japan-specific figure can exist.
That does not change what we ship you — it only means we will not print a Japan duty figure we have not verified. Ask us and we will confirm the current rate for your HS line before you commit.

What to specify on a mint contract
- Available as crude mint oil, dementholised mint oil (DMO), crystallised menthol (bold and small crystals, and powder), and speciality peppermint/spearmint oil fractions
- Graded on laboratory assay rather than visual grade: total menthol content, optical rotation, refractive index and menthol freezing point
- The core integrity flag is natural-versus-synthetic provenance; buyers requiring natural menthol specify origin and demand assay and, where needed, isotope or chiral verification
- Oils packed in food-grade HDPE drums or lined steel drums; crystallised menthol in fibre drums or cartons with moisture-barrier liners, kept cool to prevent caking and sublimation
